KeyGrabber Forensic is a professional USB hardware keylogger integrated into an inline USB extension cable plug. Designed for authorized security audits, controlled troubleshooting and forensic data collection—no software or drivers required. Logs are retrieved quickly by switching to USB Flash Drive (USB Mass Storage) mode. Supports 49 national keyboard layouts and works with standard USB HID keyboards and “keyboard wedge” barcode scanners. Note: some hub-enabled keyboards (often certain Apple models with integrated USB 2.0 High-Speed hub) may require KeyGrabber MAC. Choose Standard 16MB, TimeKeeper (RTC timestamps) or WiFi (remote access).
KeyGrabber USB Forensic is a professional hardware keylogger built into an inline USB extension cable plug. It is engineered for authorized security audits, compliance checks, controlled troubleshooting and forensic data capture—situations where you need a reliable record of typed input without installing any software or drivers on the audited computer. In other words: a hardware keylogger USB solution for environments where agents are not allowed or simply not practical.
Unlike “spy gadget” narratives, the goal here is operational clarity: reproduce an issue, document what was typed (including by attached HID devices), and export the results as evidence for internal review. This usb keylogger uses modern hardware with a proven logging engine (KeyGrabber Pico / Classic / Nano family) to keep the workflow predictable and field-tested.
The KeyGrabber Forensic product line can be equipped with an optional WiFi module, providing advanced remote access features at an affordable price.
All KeyGrabber Forensic USB models offer super-fast data retrieval by switching into USB Flash Drive (USB Mass Storage) mode for log download. No agents, drivers or background software are required, and the device remains transparent to normal computer operation. The inline extension-cable form factor is also practical in labs, service desks and workplace testing—where you want the setup to be neat and non-disruptive.
Default keyboard layout: English (US Standard) is the factory-default setting. In total, the device supports 50 selectable keyboard layouts (49 national layouts listed below + English (US Standard) as the default).
Compatibility note: works with standard USB HID keyboards and HID devices that emulate a keyboard, including barcode scanners in “keyboard wedge” mode. Some keyboards (commonly certain Apple models and a few other hub-enabled designs) include an integrated USB 2.0 High-Speed hub (480 Mbit/s) inside the keyboard and may not work correctly with this variant. For Apple/Mac-oriented setups, choose KeyGrabber MAC.
As with all our products, KeyGrabber Forensic is made in the European Union (Poland).
